Scheduled
This is a reminder regarding the previously shared FlexiPurchase SFTP whitelisting communication sent earlier this year, which outlined the network configuration updates required as part of Visa’s migration of FlexiPurchase services to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment.
As a reminder, the original communication requested customers to complete required SFTP whitelisting actions by 28th February 2026. Although we expect whitelisting has been completed, this reminder is to ensure all customers remain prepared to avoid any service disruption.
Visa is migrating FlexiPurchase services from NTT-managed infrastructure to Visa’s Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud environment. This initiative enhances stability, scalability, and security while maintaining service continuity for all clients.
Network & Configuration Updates
To ensure uninterrupted service, the following whitelisting updates may be required by your organization prior to migration over to the AWS Cloud environment. The table below provides a summary of current and new SFTP connections for your awareness:
- Current SFTP Destination End points (port 22) Inbound (sftp-au.fraedom.com) 153.254.80.15
New SFTP Destination end points (port 22) -Inbound (sftp-au.fraedom.com) 13.54.84.83 52.63.182.181 16.26.173.156 16.50.29.190 174.129.195.20 18.205.92.205 34.208.29.99 52.41.181.154
- Current outbound connections (SFTP, SMTP, HTTPs) 153.254.80.1
Where your organization deems it necessary to whitelist the new AWS inbound and outbound connections, please ensure action is taken by 13th May 2026.
Best Practices (Strongly Recommended)
To support a smooth migration and ensure ongoing service continuity, Visa strongly recommends the following best practice.
All files sent to Visa must be encrypted prior to transmission. Post-migration, unencrypted files may not be processed, which could result in processing delays or failures. To avoid disruption, it is highly recommended that all files are encrypted before being sent to Visa. Please remember to share the keys with us so we can decrypt the file.
Important: If your organization has current whitelisting configurations in place for existing inbound and outbound connections, please keep them in place until new AWS migration of 13th June 2026 to ensure a smooth carryover from old to new SFTP connections. After this date, any previous whitelisting protocols can be decommissioned.
